When referred, your friend must complete the following steps to get the referral Tab credit:
- Buy a phone and activate on a rate plan.
- After activation, fill out this form and enter the referral code they received in the referral email.
- In 6-8 weeks, if all terms are met, Koodo will apply Tab credits to both you and your friend's accounts.
If you forgot your referral code, we can send you the code again. Contact us at
koodo.webstore@koodomobile.com with the following information:
- your first and last name
- your Koodo phone number
- the name of the person(s) you referred or the name of the person that referred you.
Referral codes expire after 30 days, after which time they cannot be used.
The referral credits will be applied to both accounts, approximately
6-8 weeks after the new customer activates their service with Koodo Mobile.
There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer. However, your Tab balance cannot exceed +150 credits, regardless of the number of people you refer. For example, if you have +120 Tab and you refer 2 friends, the maximum Tab credits you will receive is +30.
If you received more than one referral offer, you can only accept one.
Only Koodo Mobile has the Tab. It's our alternative to a fixed-term contract. And it essentially lets you take up to $150 off the retail price of a phone. With the Tab you're not locked in for a certain period, you just have to settle your Tab before leaving.

We'll send you an email after the referral credit has been applied to your Tab balance. You can also check for yourself, in Self Serve. Simply follow these steps:
- Login to Self Serve. Not registered for Self Serve yet? Here is how to get started.
- Click on "Koodo Tab".
- Under "Tab Transaction History", your referral credit will be listed as "Goodwill".
Referral credits do not appear on your paper bill, or E-Bill.

Yes, although there are some differences. The Koodo Tab can only apply if a customer does not have a term contract. Since you are on a term contract, you do not have a Koodo Tab and do not receive Tab credits. Tab credits have no monetary value, and no substitution (bill credits, airtime credits, etc.) will apply. Your friend, however, will receive Tab credits if they are not on a term contract. If both you and your friend are on term contracts, the referral program does not apply.
